Larry’s Pizza Trail Day
You (Superfeet employees) are cordially invited to help define the trail tread of a new mountain bike trail found on Galbraith!
Who am I?
My name is Gerry Creighton, and I am a volunteer trail builder with the WMBC. I built the trail Swirlz, a blue-level trail located at the top of Galbraith, “Galby,” which was built to take you to Space Wolf in a more fun way. Since building Swirlz, I have been given permission to build a new addition to Swirlz.
I’m calling this new trail “Larry’s Pizza.”
Larry’s Pizza will be a hand-built blue-level natural-feeling trail that flows through a beautiful forest, crosses two bridges, and passes by a waterfall. A rocky section, which includes a short rock roll, will challenge riders along the way.
I started digging on this trail in June and am planning on opening this new trail in late September!
What I need: A good stretch of new single track was recently created, and it needs to be tamped down, some small roots clipped, and a few other minor touches. I could use some bodies to help pack in this new trail.
